    • Very important in balancing the hormone system, digestive system, cardiovascular system, and the immune system.

    • Acupuncture plays an important and effective role in the treatment of pain syndromes.

  • Step One: All patients start with an initial private TeleMed session (live video appointment) with Dr. Cassone.

    • The initial session is a comprehensive review of medical history and lifestyle and can last up to 90 minutes.

    • Each patient is reviewed by the entire team the following morning.

    • A treatment plan will be made that may include a custom herbal formula, supportive nutritional supplements, lifestyle or dietary guidance, and/or acupuncture.

  • Step Two: Our Clinical Director, Kelly Cassone, will send a welcome email the day after the initial appointment. Review it and respond with any questions. She is the liaison between the patients and the team and is always available by email.

  • Step Three (Southern California patients only): Pick up your prescription in the office lobby (it will be ready the following business day by noon). If acupuncture is part of your treatment plan, then book your first appointment (which is included in the cost of your initial appointment).

  • Step Three (patients outside of Southern California): Your prescription will be shipped the next business day. It is important to update Kelly with any change in symptoms or questions for the team.

  • Step Four: Pick a Wellness Plan. They are designed to keep cost down while allowing for greater care during the therapeutic phase of treatment (when we are trying to get clear and significant improvements). The therapeutic phase will last anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months depending on the severity and complications of the condition. During this phase, modifications are made to prescriptions based on what is improving and what still needs to improve.

  • Step Five: Schedule a follow-up TeleMedicine appointment with Dr. Cassone 3-4 weeks after the initial appointment.

  • Step Six: The maintenance phase comes after we have seen clear and significant improvements. Many of our patients are able to reduce treatments and dosages during this phase with the goal, when possible, to be able to discontinue treatment. For the more severe or complicated conditions, the treatment strategy may need to be maintained for a longer period of time.

If you are taking any supplements or prescription drugs, we will evaluate these in relation to your current condition (email list or photo). Any recent lab work should be emailed prior to the appointment for review.
